What “source reviewed” means: a published official or operator source was checked. It does not mean an on-site visit, live availability, an endorsement or an exhaustive search. Some City pages block automated access; indexed official content was used and the limitation remains in the source record.
Geography: the guide begins in El Segundo and includes surrounding communities. Regional professional and college sports may extend beyond 25 miles. The separate business directory uses a measured 25-mile straight-line radius from 33.9192, −118.4165.
Live conditions: NWS observations and alerts, and NOAA station data, are requested when the page loads and every 10 minutes while visible. Each metric identifies its source, observation time and location. Failed feeds show unavailable; old readings are marked. Traffic, air quality and beach safety currently link to the responsible live sources.
Corrections: ESMoA’s venue is in Lawndale. Local Metro stations are on the K Line. South Bay Lakers relocated to Coachella Valley for 2026–27; the guide does not promote local South Bay Lakers home games.
