UNIVERSITY OF EL SEGUNDO / PARK CIRCLES

Find your people.
Meet outside.

A shared interest. A nearby park. A few neighbors who are glad they came.

Small gatherings, hosted by people who want to meet each other. We’re collecting interest in the first circles now.

Forming now. Dates, hosts and meeting points are not confirmed.

LEARN. WALK. MAKE. READ.

Four ways to begin.

A suggested monthly rotation.
Every circle starts with people who opt in.

A LITTLE HELP GETTING STARTED

Turn an interest
into an idea.

Try a format and a time of day. This creates a draft plan you can copy. It does not schedule an event, reserve a park or contact anyone.

DRAFT IDEA / NOT SCHEDULED

AI & Coffee at the park

Select a format to create a simple gathering idea.

Make a calendar draft

Choose a date, Pacific time and meeting place. Download a tentative calendar file to review. It does not reserve a park, publish an event or invite anyone.

FROM INTEREST TO INVITATION

Let the neighborhood
take shape.

01

Pick your interests.

Choose private tags and separately opt into meetup messages. A newsletter subscription alone never enrolls you in introductions.

02

Find enough overlap.

The pilot aims for at least five interested, email-confirmed adults and a willing volunteer host. We’re collecting requests; email confirmation and automatic matching are not running yet.

03

Confirm a real plan.

Check the host, date, meeting point, access, park rules and weather. Then send an invitation that people can accept. No event is created from an unverified signup count.

A PROPOSED STARTING PLACE

Recreation Park.

401 Sheldon Street, El Segundo. The first formats are designed around a simple neighborhood park gathering; the exact space and meeting point still need confirmation.

Before announcing a date, the host checks suitability, current access and the City’s reservation requirements. These circles are independent and are not City-sponsored events.
