Route: from Redondo through Riviera Village and Torrance, then into Hermosa Beach. North on Hermosa Ave, 10th St, Beach Dr, north to ~24th/25th St, south on The Strand; passes Pier Plaza twice. - Hermosa Ave SB lanes, Herondo–10th St: closed from 4:00 PM, reopens 9:30 PM.
- 10th St, Beach Dr (10th–14th), 14th St: closed from 4:00 PM, reopens 9:30 PM.
- Hermosa Ave SB lanes, 14th–24th St: closed from 4:00 PM, reopens 9:45 PM.
- 24th St (Hermosa Ave–Strand): closed from 4:00 PM, reopens 9:45 PM.
- The Strand, 24th St–Harbor Dr: closed from 4:00 PM, reopens 10:15 PM.
Redondo Beach and Torrance: N. Harbor Dr (Marina Way–Herondo) until 10:15 PM; start/finish block of N. Harbor Dr / N. Pacific Ave closed until 12–2 PM Sun Oct 25. Torrance’s Paseo de la Playa, Camino de la Costa, and one southbound lane of Palos Verdes Blvd. reopen 7:30–7:45 PM. Getting there and parking
No race parking; public lots first-come; Veterans Park and Torrance Beach lots closed to public on race day; park before 4 PM. Race guide
Drop-off: Northbound Hermosa Ave between Lyndon St and 2nd St (near Herondo); allow 15+ min walk. There is also a bike valet. Shuttles are for participants only and must be booked ahead. Nike FAQ

- Pier Plaza and Herondo / Hermosa each let you see a runner twice.
- To guess a passing time, multiply pace by the mile mark and add it to the start-line time. A runner who crosses at 5:15 PM on an 11:30-per-mile pace reaches mile 10 around 7:10 PM. That is only an estimate.
- Most of the race is after dark. Sunset tonight is 6:09 PM, and civil twilight ends at 6:35 PM. Wear a light or bright layer. Bags are recommended to be clear, at most 13 by 16 inches. Race guide
- Vehicles can’t cross the route while it is closed. Pick one side and stay there.
