PICKLEBALL / TWO SCORES / CREW BOARD
Two Scores,
for your crew.
Compare your self rating, your crew's opinions and an estimate from logged games. Four numbers side by side, never blended into one.
Self
The level you say you play at, 2.0 to 6.0.
Players
Votes from crew-mates who logged a game with you. Shows after 3 votes, weighted by agreement with current Results estimates.
Critics
Crew-mates with a critic code, shown apart. Their hit rate measures agreement within 0.5 of current Results estimates, not independent accuracy.
Results
estimate Our model's estimate from logged scores and self ratings. Shows after 3 games; it is not an official skill rating.
How it works
Anyone with the crew code can view and join.
- One person starts a crew and gets a 12-character code of letters and numbers. Anyone with the code or invite link can view and join the crew. Share it only with people you trust; recipients can forward it.
- Join with a nickname, a self rating, a style and an optional paddle name. No email, phone number or account password is requested. This browser stores a private key that authorizes your votes and changes. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to act as you. Keep access to that browser private.
- Log a game you played: who was on each side, the final score and, optionally, each player's paddle. Anyone in a game can flag it, and a flagged game stops counting.
- Player votes require a shared logged game; critics can vote without one. The board shows aggregates rather than a named list of individual votes. This does not guarantee anonymity: small groups may infer who voted. The server stores each vote's association with its voter. Two players who both vote each other more than 0.5 above their Results estimates have those votes weighted half.
- The Results estimate starts from each player's current self rating and adjusts for how far each side beat or missed the model's expected score margin. Changing a self rating recalculates that history. This site's model has no validated conversion to an official rating. See ratings explained.
- Paddle cards show crew opinions, a critics score, a record of player appearances and an estimated plus/minus from logged games. See paddle cards.
Stored for each crew: the crew name, nicknames, ratings and votes, styles, paddle names and ratings, game scores and participants, fixed-list tags, timestamps and a hash of each browser's key. Crew names and nicknames are typed text limited to 24 characters; paddle names are limited to 40. Use a nickname and avoid real names, contact details, locations or other personal information in any text field.
There is no automatic expiry for crew records. A member can leave to remove their player, votes, paddle ratings and games they were in. The person who started the crew can delete the entire crew instead of leaving. This is not a DUPR rating and doesn't feed any official system.
