A LITTLE FRIENDLY COMPETITION

Steady beats win.

  • One deliberate tap sends one drum. This page accepts at most one per second across all five drums, with one shared request in flight.
  • Most scored drums leads the table. Equal points share a rank; alphabetical order only arranges a tie.
  • Practice starts at zero on every visit. Connecting never uploads your practice drums. Disconnecting returns to your practice table.
  • Shared points follow PointCast's source week, Monday through Sunday UTC. The source supplies the dates and daily team cap above. Resetting practice never resets shared results.

MULTIPLAYER, WITH THE LIMITS VISIBLE

Fans, across screens.

On the published El Segundo league, choose “Connect shared league” to read the same PointCast table and send tagged drums. Localhost and other preview addresses are read-only; return to practice to play locally there. Shared totals appear only after a valid response. The table polls every 20 seconds while visible and may lag behind a confirmed drum.

The tags are public and unclaimed. Anyone can send them, including scripts. The one-second guard is local to this page and can be bypassed. These standings cannot establish unique people, employment, popularity or a fair prize result. No prizes or official winner in v1.

No account, email, location, wallet or persistent player identifier is requested by this game. Shared play sends a team tag, a place label and one beat; PointCast receives ordinary network requests. The place label does not establish your location. The site's existing page analytics policy still applies.

Why these names? Sources & artwork

Five fan drums selected from the local company directory. These excerpts establish a place connection only. Company pages checked November 3, 2026; undated unless stated. Label: listing, the company's own page.

Noun 42 pixel artwork reused from the existing PointCast Nouns assets. Original Nouns artwork is public domain; this fan project does not represent Nouns or any company. Colored drums and goggles are interface graphics.

The shared source & next steps

Read the shared league JSON · PointCast Drum League · Play Nouns Drum Club

This league uses a separate source tag for each fan drum. A row missing from PointCast's limited global table stays unavailable. An unconfirmed write may have counted, so it is never retried automatically. A later tap is a new drum.

Future competitive play needs claimed teams, server-enforced limits, replay protection, bot separation and tested identity federation. Profile/course credit, civic voting, blockchain logging and prizes are outside this first slice.
